Photo ED System
Our "Photo ED System" is a photoresist technology for forming a precision circuit on a printed circuit board through electro-painting of photosensitive resins. The high-quality, process-saving resist electro-deposition method is essential for manufacturing electronic materials. Photosensitive epoxy resin films are used for insulating materials for the next-generation semiconductor packages. We are creating innovative products for electronic materials by combing resin and paint technologies.
Nippon Paint actively researches and develops technologies to protect human life and health. "PS Gel," a blood serum separating agent developed as a spin-off of advanced resin synthesis and dispersion technologies, has significantly improved test precision and speed in laboratories, and is used both in and outside Japan. "Tecron," Nippon Paint's adhesive for metal structures, has been used successfully for more than 20 years and provides extremely strong joints for thin steel plates. In particular, demand is growing for the adhesive as an alternative to the soldering and welding of 18-liter oil cans and kerosene heater fuel tanks.
